TRAVIS SAMPLE
A fitness fanatic devoted to improving the health and wellness of others, Travis Sample is the co-owner and namesake of S.A.M.P.L.E. Fitness. Travis has served as a personal trainer, sport performance coach, group instructor and motivational speaker for more than a decade, influencing thousands of clients through his infectious motivational style. Sample’s clientele spans the full fitness spectrum, comprising kids new to training, young adults trying to stay in shape, older adults looking to get back into shape, experienced gym goers fighting to break personal barriers, and exercise rookies just hoping to get off the mat.
Travis has worked with recreational and competitive athletes ranging from pee-wee’s and high school players to collegians and aspiring pros. He has helped a number of his athletes advance to nationally acclaimed schools and prominent professional franchises, and has continued to train these players throughout their careers. Sample is also a sought-after celebrity trainer, chosen to train an array of entertainers in the music and television industries. Travis possesses a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is CPR/AED certified.
EVAN WILLIAMS
The other co-owner of S.A.M.P.L.E. Fitness, Evan has trained in tandem with Travis since the company’s inception in 2012. He has spearheaded dozens of county-wide programs, ranging from community and school wellness initiatives to youth fitness and sports team training. Evan is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the state of New Jersey.
He has trained a myriad of clients, including but not limited to, kids developing or fine-tuning gross motor skills, youth athletes building an athletic foundation, high-performance athletes at the high school, collegiate and pro ranks, and weekend warriors itching to keep fit. His comprehensive background enables him to approach training from a variety of lenses, from performance enhancement to injury prevention and even early-stage injury diagnosis. Evan’s coverage of college basketball has appeared regularly on SI.com, Sports Illustrated online, and he contributes ad hoc injury and performance analysis during the season. He remains actively involved in multiple facets of the sport industry to this day.
